Now I Can Children's Fund was created in 2007 in memory of Mark Wynnyk. It is held with the Burlington Community Foundation as a registered charitable fund that provides financial support to programs and activities that provide empowering, life changing opportunities to Burlington youth in need, through mentoring relationships that help foster new skills development, confidence and a greater sense of well-being.
This was the 2nd annual 'Dine Out Burlington' fundraising draw in support of Now I Can Children's Fund. 30 fine dining and casual dining restaurants generously donated gift certificates for dining for two at their eatery. Thanks to Jake's Grill & Oyster House for hosting the draw.









Yet that is exactly what Nancy Barlett did after her youngest son, Mark Wynnyk, was killed on his motorcycle in May 2007.
