'We Love Futbol' - BYSC Day at the Hamilton Tiger Cats

The Now I Can Children's Fund teamed up with the Burlington Youth Soccer Club and Hamilton Tiger-Cats to host a soccer skills coaching clinic. Twenty-nine boys and girls ages 6-13 were invited from the Our Kids Network (Burlington) and St. David's Inner City Outreach (Hamilton) to participate in the coaching clinic held at the Brian Timmis Stadium in Hamilton. Following a barbeque, the kids and their chaperones attended the Ticats/Eskimos game at Ivor Wynne. Much to their delight there was a half-time mini soccer extravanganza where the young soccer players joined other children from the BYSC houseleagues and entertained fans by playing small sided mini soccer games. In spite of the wet weather, it was an incredible experience for these young kids - one they will remember for a lifetime.
